This site reviews wineries of the Southeastern United states:
the wineries themselves, not any particular individual wine that they might offer.
We try to visit each winery more than once, on different days, and at different times of the day, and we use the perspectives of as-many-as thirteen different reviewers. We realize that time-of-day and day-of-week can effect the results, and that wineries, like people, have good days and bad days. We applaud all wineries for their effort.

How We Score a Winery
These scores reflect our opinion of recent visits and will continue to be updated.
We have created a scoring system based on seven categories that we feel have an equivalent impact on the visitor's experience.
The seven points are:- Wine Quality: How is the quality for the varietal?*
- Wine Variety: Is a nice selection of wines offered?
- Value for Dollar: Are the wines worth the price?
- Friendliness: How are you treated as a customer?
- Vineyards and Vistas: Is the exterior pleasant and inviting?
- Interior Atmosphere: Is the interior attractive, inviting, conducive to the visit?
- Overall Experience: Is the winery worth the visit?
